Many people with acne-prone skin make the mistake of scrubbing their face too vigorously or using harsh cleansers which can irritate the skin and make breakouts worse! Inflammatory acne includes papules and pustules which are small bumps on the surface of the skin caused by a bacterial infection in the pores. These require more powerful medications like antibiotics or prescription treatments from a dermatologist.

Choosing a Facewash for Your Skin Type:

Now that you know more about acne itself, let’s dive into finding the right face wash for your individual needs. When choosing a facial wash for your acne-prone skin, look for products containing key ingredients like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, as these can help reduce inflammation and clear out blocked pores.

How to Use Facewash Appropriately:

When Is It Safe to Pop a Pimple?

Make sure you avoid using dirty tools such as pins or needles as these can introduce bacteria into your skin and cause infection. After extraction, apply an antiseptic cream to help reduce inflammation and aid the healing process.

While pimple popping may seem like a harmless activity, there are risks associated with improper extraction methods. Picking at blemishes can lead to infection due to bacteria entering open wounds; squeezing too hard can also cause scarring by damaging healthy tissue under the surface of the skin; and lastly, aggressive popping may trigger further breakouts as it irritates acne-prone areas of your face.

It's important to practice safe extraction methods such as using clean tools and following proper hygiene protocols when dealing with troublesome blemishes.
