Collect baseline specimen (2ml Serum)after an overnight fast. Patient should be at rest for 30 minutes prior to basal sample collection. Administer stimulating agent Clonidine (Arkamine) 300 ug OR 5ug / Kg body weight orally. Then collect sample at 30, 60 & 90 mins. for Growth Hormone. Ship refrigerated or frozen. All containers must be clearly marked with time drawn and submitted with one test request form.
